Floral and Delivery Designer Needed

 WEEKEND are a MUST!!

We are a boutique flower shop that specializes in weddings and large events. We average anywhere from 6 to 12 weddings a weekend. We work on Thursdays as its our design day and do deliveries throughout the weekend. You would need to have your own vehicle to do the deliveries. Deliveries can take anywhere from 3 to 6 hours. And they are typically either in the morning around 9:00 a.m. or in the afternoon around 3:00 p.m. There are some exceptions to that at times. You would work on Thursdays to learn how to do all the different designs. Then Shadow with a delivery designer for several weeks before you felt comfortable and we felt comfortable with you doing a delivery on your own. It's a very rewarding job and our team is an awesome little family. There's lots of perks to the job . Monthly team buildings and Holiday gifts here and there. Plus the shop always covers lunch on Thursdays!

We are looking for a self-motivated independent Designer with good work ethics to join our fast-paced floral team. 

What we are looking for:
Must be dependable!!
Experience in floral is a must
*Someone with an artistic eye*
Individual must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
The individual will be responsible to work independently to Cleaning, pick up flower orders, Use proper care for processing/cutting flowers,
Assisting designers with flower preparations and replicating,
Assisting with delivery and set-up of floral events,
Emptying garbage daily,
Packaging vases and inventory,
Reading contracts and prepping inventory,
Moving inventory to proper locations and various other tasks.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK/DELIVER ON WEEKENDS
SUV for deliveries preferred but not required. Vehicle required

Job Type: Part -Time Depending on weekly work flow (under 40hrs)

Compensation: Starting at $17Hr

Required education:High school or equivalent

Required language: English

Experience Required: Need some past work experience with floral. Average Days are Thursday through Sunday depending on work flow
